Cookie Policy
The short version
Kept sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no tracking cookies. There is nothing to opt out of, because there is no tracking to opt out of. We store two small preferences on your own device so the interface behaves sensibly between visits.
What is stored on your device
| Key | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
kept.cookies |
localStorage | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice, so it does not reappear. | Until you clear site data |
kept.wallet |
localStorage | Remembers that you previously connected a wallet, so the site can reconnect without prompting you each visit. | Until you clear site data |
Both are localStorage entries, not cookies — they are never sent to our server with your requests. They stay in your browser.
Are these strictly necessary?
They are functional preferences that you set by your own actions, they contain no identifiers, and they are not used to profile you. Under the ePrivacy rules this kind of storage generally does not require consent. We still show a notice because we would rather tell you than not.
Third parties
Loading the site fetches a JavaScript library from cdnjs (Cloudflare) and fonts from Google Fonts. These providers see your IP address as part of serving the file. They do not set cookies for us and we receive nothing back from them.
Stock logos are served from our own domain, so browsing the markets table does not reveal to anyone else which stocks you looked at.
Your wallet extension is separate software with its own policy. Connecting it exposes your public address to this site.
Turning it off
Clearing site data in your browser removes both entries. You can also block storage for this site entirely — the interface still works, you will just see the cookie notice on each visit and have to reconnect your wallet manually.
